MARINA BAY. ENDURANCE IN FOCUS.
Marina Bay is one of the most physically demanding circuits on the calendar. High humidity, elevated temperatures, and a long sequence of slow-speed corners combine to create sustained pressure for both driver and car.
Lap time is built through traction and repeatability. Frequent braking and acceleration phases place continuous demand on tire grip, with clean rotation and controlled exits critical across closely linked corners.
Downforce is prioritized to stabilize the car through repeated low-speed direction changes, while braking consistency becomes key as the lap offers little opportunity to recover between corners.
Track evolution plays an important role as grip improves under artificial lighting. Even so, the street surface remains inconsistent, requiring constant adjustment in braking points and throttle application.
Overtaking is possible but rarely straightforward. Moves are typically developed over multiple corners, where positioning and exit speed determine opportunity.
Small mistakes carry lasting consequences. Time loss accumulates quickly, and physical strain increases as drivers work continuously without relief.
Singapore tests endurance at every level. Performance depends on maintaining precision and control as fatigue builds over the course of the race.
