INTERLAGOS. HOLD NOTHING BACK.
Interlagos runs counter to convention. Anti-clockwise, undulating, and compact, it compresses a full range of technical challenges into a short lap. Elevation changes create constant variation in braking and traction, forcing drivers to adapt corner by corner. The opening sector flows at high speed, rewarding aerodynamic grip, before transitioning into slower, more technical sections where mechanical balance becomes decisive. The final sector demands clean exit traction to maximise speed onto the long uphill main straight. Weather remains a defining influence. Conditions can shift rapidly, altering grip levels and strategy within moments. Tyre management becomes reactive as much as planned. Slipstreaming creates overtaking opportunities, particularly into Turn 1, but positioning across the preceding corners is critical. Interlagos thrives on momentum — not just in the car, but in the race itself. Once it shifts, it rarely slows down.
