AUSTRIA. EVERY CORNER COUNTS.
This circuit is compact in layout but intense in execution. With few corners and multiple long straights, lap time is concentrated into a small number of critical moments.
The opening sector climbs steeply, with heavy braking into the first corners placing a premium on stability and driver confidence. Getting the car slowed and positioned cleanly is essential, but exit traction defines performance onto the following straights.
Acceleration zones dominate the lap, with repeated demands on rear grip and power delivery. Any loss of traction, particularly on uphill exits, carries through the entire straight that follows.
Downhill sections bring a different challenge. Carrying speed requires precision and restraint, as the car can quickly become unloaded under braking and direction change.
Track limits remain a constant factor. Drivers are forced to use every inch of available space to remain competitive, balancing lap time against the risk of penalties.
Overtaking opportunities are clear, but execution is not guaranteed. Heavy braking zones invite moves, but positioning on entry and exit is decisive.
Austria concentrates the race into a handful of corners. Each one has consequence, and small mistakes are amplified immediately on the long straights that follow.
